Steps to Dignity USA is a 501(c)3 organization operating within the United States as the fundraising arm for our parent organization, Future Leaders Initiative Sierra Leone. www.weareflisl.org

Our mission is to break the cycle of abuse and abject poverty of the children in rural Sierra Leone by building a No Hit Zone school and health clinic where the children will be safe from physical and sexual abuse while pursuing their studies and where poor families in rural communities can access health care. By providing access to a safe space for children to learn and a safe space for families to seek medical care, we safeguard the rights and well being of vulnerable children and families, support vulnerable communities and provide pathways to a brighter future. Every dollar helps eliminate violence and rebuilds communities because each village family who wants to participate must commit to making their homes a safe zone where children are safe from physical harm.
